Flowering time: April-September. Perennial

Habitat: Common on free-draining, less acidic soils in woods, hedgebanks, gardens and wasteground.

Small yellow flowers with five rounded petals. Leaves are slightly hairy, pinnate, with a large terminal lobe and smaller lateral lobes.

Hybridises with Water Avens: G. x intermedium
