Wild Carrot Daucus carota Flowering time: June-August. Biennial. Native Occurs on well-drained, +/- infertile calcareous soils among grassland and on roadsides, railway banks and waste ground Umbels of small whitish flowers often with a reddish central flower. Bracts and bracteoles are present and the umbel rays are contracted and concave in fruit. Leaves are pinnate, lanceolate-oval with pinnatifid leaflets.
