Creeping Buttercup Ranunculus repens Flowering time: May-August. Perennial. Native Very common and widespread on disturbed damp, nutrient-rich ground in gardens, on waste and arable ground, roadsides and grassland The golden yellow flowers are five-petalled with upright sepals. The basal leaves are 3-lobed with toothed segments. A variably hairy plant spreading by long, rooting runners The double-flowered form is R. repens var. degeneratus (photo below) |
