Dropwort Filipendula vulgaris Flowering time: June-August. Perennial. Native Grows on calcareous grassland and roadsides and sometimes on heathland over chalk and limestone rocks. A frequent garden plant and can also be found as a garden escape Similar to Meadowsweet but smaller with more flattened flowerheads and fewer but larger creamy-white flowers and pink-tinged buds.
