Established and increasing on cultivated, waste and agricultural land and on roadsides, motorway embankments and in urban areas

Panicles of small, erect, whitish flowers with 5-lobed corolla and hairless bracts. Seeds freely. Plants remain green until hard frost and have over-wintering leaf rosettes with more/less toothed leaves. Stems are brittle with narrow stem leaves. To 140cm tall
