Height: To 3m.
An erect, bushy, shrub with long, terminal racemes of yellow or whitish-yellow flowers followed by flattened, downy seedpods. The palmate leaves are divided into 7-11 leaflets.

Habitat: Naturalised. Scattered, mainly coastal distribution on dry, sandy ground and roadsides.
