Helianthemum nummularium * Common Rock-rose Flowering time: May - September. Perennial Habitat: Can be locally frequent on short calcareous grassland, among rocks and on cliffs. A creeping, +/- prostrate plant. Woody branches with oval, untoothed leaves that are white-woolly on the undersides. Crinkled buds open to bright yellow flowers on downy stems. Height 5-30cm |
