Sexual generation on Quercus cerris

Agamic - a usually terminal hard, woody, thin-walled gall with up to 5 weakly rounded lobes. Mature galls have a slightly pointed tip

Sexual - smooth bud gall 2-2.5mm with pointed tip, very thin-walled with the lower half hidden by bud scales. Sexual galls and adults of A.lignicola, corruptrix, kollari are very difficult to separate
