Dasineura acrophila Gall on Fraxinus excelsior, Ash Hosts: Fraxinus angustifolia, americana, excelsior, ornus, pallisiae A partially or completely thickened leaflet that creates a pod folded upwards over the midrib. Contains many white larvae, the gut content greenish-blue. Univoltine, pupating in the soil. Macrolabis pavida is an iniquiline of Dasineura acrophila, the white larvae lacking colouration of the gut content (see photographs below).
