Mites not examined Hosts (bladmineerders.nl): Cruciata glabra, laevipes and Galium aparine, boreale, constrictum, mollugo, palustre, parisiense, pumilum, saxatile, tricornutum, uliginosum, verum The galls are identical to those of Cecidophyes rouhollahi. Redfern and Shirley (2011) believe all British records are C. rouhollahi (first described 1999) and that there is no evidence at present that C. galii occurs in Britain
