Occurs throughout southern Britain in open grassland habitats, Nests are well-dispersed among short or medium length grassland

Spring-flying, April to June

Widely polylectic on a range of herbaceous plants and spring-flowering shrubs including Dandelions and Blackthorn

Parasites: Nomada goodeniana and occasionally Stylops melittae
