Cladonia incrassata Primary thallus squamulose, secondary thallus fruticose Chemical results: K-, C-, KC+ yellow, P-, UV+ white or bluish Easily overlooked on rotting tree stumps, old peat cuttings and acidic, peaty soil in woodlands. BLS conservation evaluation: LC NS The dominant basal squamules are yellowish-green, very incised with sorediate lower surfaces. Bases sometimes tinged orange (K+ purple).
