Caloplaca xantholyta (Leproplaca xantholyta)

Growth type crustose, placodioid
Chemical results: K+ red

Found on damp limestone rocks, walls and church memorials.

A leprose lemony-yellow thallus with a white medulla surrounded by +/- developed marginal lobes. Sterile.

Similar: Chrysothrix chlorina is K- and occurs on siliceous rocks
