Chemical results: K-, C-, KC-, P-, UV+ blue-white

Local, on damp or water-logged peaty soils on heaths, quarries and spoil heaps. BLS conservation evaluation: LC NS

Forms mats of fragile, brittle squamules, olive-green with a bronze tinge and white lower surfaces. Podetia usually simple, apices +/- centrally perforated, scyphi not proliferating at margins. Dark brown pycnidia form on squamules.
