Chemical results: K+ yellow, C-, P-. Medulla UV+ blue-white

Can be locally frequent on acidic peaty soils on wet moors and heathland

Primary thallus of persistent whitish-grey granules. Hollow, cylindrical, simple or branched podetia tipped with dark pycnidia or brown apothecia.
