Scytinium schraderi (Leptogium schraderi) Growth type foliose Chemical results negative Found on moss or soil in calcareous dunes and grassland, over limestone and on mortared walls. Thick dark olive-brown or red-brown thallus, the turgid lobes forming +/- upright tufts. Lobes ascending, cylindrical, often divided near base, glossy when wet, wrinkled to plicate when dry.
