Thallus K+ yellow, C-. Apothecia C-, P+ yellow or red, UV+ pale orange

Easily overlooked on twigs and bark of smooth-barked, slightly nutrient-rich deciduous trees

Small patches of whitish or pale-grey, smooth or warted thallus, often with white prothallus. Discs usually densely white-pruinose, pinkish to pale brownish. Conspicuous margins becoming +/- crenulate or excluded.

Similar: Lecanora carpinea. Thallus K+ yellow. Apothecia C+ yellow
