Very common in moist, nitrogenous soil in fields, gardens, waste ground, woods and on roadsides

An untidy sprawling plant, very variable but with hairless leaves, cordate with central vein. Small white flowers with deeply indented petals are followed by round, warted seeds. Height 5-40cm
