Hosts:
Agamic: Quercus frainetto, petraea, pubescens, pyrenaica, robur
Groups of unicellular galls fused to roots. Mature October of second year

Sexual: Quercus canariensis, faginea, frainetto, infectoria, lusitanica, petraea, pubescens, pyrenaica, robur
Forms large pinkish-white, +/- globular, spongy galls. Multicellular, the adults emerging in June and July
