Galls on Galium verum, Ladys Bedstraw

Hosts:
Asperula cynanchica and Galium album (mollugo), pumilum, saxatile, verum

Flower buds very swollen with an open, blunt tip, the inside green filled with fleshy protrusions and numerous mites

Schizomyia galiorum can appear similar but the flower bud remains recognisable, the central chamber containing 1-3 orange larvae and fungal mycelium
