Acari: Eriophyoidea - gall mite Cecidophyes nudus Photographs on Geum urbanum, Wood Avens Hosts: Geum rivale, urbanum, most frequent on G. urbanum Upperside bulges are light green, yellowish or red an usually on leaves. Can be found throughout the year though the white mites (photo left) living among the erineum hairs on the underside become dormant during winter.
