BLS conservation evaluation: NT NR Sc IR Small, usually erect thallus, base not blackened, medulla +/- lax. The thin, twisted, scabrid branchlets are not or slightly constricted, tips curled or contorted and covered with irregular, excavate soralia. Isidia absent, apothecia very rare.
