Mainly coastal on thin, infertile, sandy, gravelly or rocky ground and among parched coastal grassland

A procumbent or erect plant with unstalked white to pale pink flowers. Calyx tubes are bell-shaped and the sepal-teeth curve outwards. The leaflets are downy on both sides with backwards curving veins.
