Flowering: May-September. Annual or perennial. Native

Parasitic on the roots of Hedera species on coastal cliffs and in open woodland, hedgebanks and in urban areas

The pale whitish-cream flowers are tinged pinkish-purple and have a narrowed corolla and yellowish upper lip. The unbranched stem is swollen at the base, pinkish-purple and glandular hairy with scale-lie stem leaves
