Occurs on thallus of Xanthoria parietina. Infrequently recorded.
BLS conservation evaluation: LC NR

Apothecia 0.2-0.3mm wide. Asci are 8-spored, the spores hyaline, 3-septate 12-17 x 4-6 Ám. Exciple K+ brownish-red in section. Micro photographs below.

Similar: Opegrapha rupestris has slightly larger spores and is found on Verrucariaceae, particularly Verrucaria baldensis
