Cyphelium inquinans Growth type crustose Chemical results: K+ yellow > red-brown, C-, P+ pale yellow, UV- Found on acid bark, wood, old fence posts and worked timber. Fairly tolerant of SO2 pollution, sometimes occurs with Lecanora conizaeoides Warted pale or dark grey thallus, the black discs often slightly pruinose with thick margins.
