Cladonia floerkeana Primary thallus squamulose, secondary thallus fruticose. Chemical reactions are usually negative, but occasionally K+ yellow, CK+ yellow, P+ orange, UV+ blue Occurs on peaty soil and mossy rocks on heathland, also found on rotting logs and stumps. Variable. Persistent small incised basal squamules with small, usually unbranched greyish podetia, squamulose below but becoming granular above.
