Catillariaceae Catillaria atomarioides Growth type crustose. BLS conservation evaluation: LC NS Chemistry unknown Widespread on hard, siliceous rocks but probably very over-looked Thin dark thallus, often looking like just a stain on the the rock. Very small black apothecia (0.1-0.2mm diam) with thin, slightly raised margins. True exciple green-black throughout. Spores 1-septate, 7-10 × 2.3-3.5 µm. Epithecium dark brown to green-black.
