Flavoparmelia caperata

Growth type foliose.
Medulla and soredia K+/- dirty yellow, C-, KC+ red, P+ orange-red

Common on well-lit acid-barked trees, fences, headstones, siliceous rocks

Thallus is bluish-grey to apple-green with wrinkled lobes and coarse granular soredia. Under surface black with light-brown margins and simple rhizines. Apothecia are occasional, the margins sorediate. (Photo below)
Sometimes host to Abrothallus microspermus and its anamorph Vouauxiomyces truncatus
