Fairly common, in Dorset local on grasslands
Wingspan: 27-40mm

Flight time: Usually two generations, May-September
Found in a range of habitats but usually prefers well-drained open areas including grasslands, dunes, gardens and quarries.

Larval food plant: St. John's wort (Hypericum spp.)
