Season: Two generations, June-August
Habitat: Coastal salt-marshes

Larvae mine the leaves of Sea aster (Aster tripolium)
Mine: April-May and July-August
Egg is laid on underside of leaf. The initial upper or lower surface corridor with central frass is followed by several shorter, full-depth mines.
