Chemical results negative

Increasing on dry, well-lit and usually nutrient-poor wood and on bark of conifers and deciduous trees.

Inconspicuous thallus +/- covered by thin or scattered, dull yellowish-green granular soredia. Apothecia are rare, the spores 3-septate.

Similar: Chrysothrix candelaris is brighter in colour, Lecanora expallens is C+ orange and Psilolechia lucida is usually saxicolous
